BIOGRAPHY

Growing up, in northern Sweden, there was always music around her, resulting in dreaming of working with it professionally from a young age. She started taking guitar lessons at 10 years old and singing lessons at 12 years old, at 12 she also learned how to play the piano and at 13 bass and basic drums. At 14 she started recording covers and uploading them to Soundcloud, the songwriting became a part of Hilma's life at 15 and at 16 musicproduction caught her eye and has since then been a big part of her life.

The songs are somewhat chaotic production-wise, with lyrics that are written without really being analyzed with the belief that songwriting shouldn't make much sense - Hilma would rather have the listener find out themselves what the song is about for them. She creates because she needs to get it out of her system, and says creating is her favorite thing to do in the whole world. 

The debut EP Sensory Overload was released in August 2023, all the songs written and produced by Hilma Bendrik. The album "Under The Radar" was released on October 25th, 2024.
